Duas for Pain and Hardship
أَلَم
Every hardship a believer endures — even the prick of a thorn — erases sins (Bukhari). These are the duas of the prophets in their severest trials: Ayyub in his illness, Yunus in the depths, and the words of return spoken at every loss.
1. Anni massaniya al-durru wa anta arhamur rahimeen
أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ الضُّرُّ وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
Anni massaniya al-durru wa anta arhamur rahimeen
Indeed, adversity has touched me, and You are the most merciful of the merciful
