Subhana Rabbiyal A'la — The Tasbih of Sujood

Subhana Rabbiyal A'la — The Tasbih of Sujood

At the body's lowest point, the tongue declares Allah's highness. The Prophet ﷺ said the servant is nearest to his Lord while in sujood (Muslim 482) — and this tasbih is the words of that nearness.
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَى
Subhana Rabbiyal A'la
Glory be to my Lord, the Most High.

Virtue and Source

Recited in sujood (prostration in prayer) — Muslim 772

When to Recite It

Say it at least three times in every prostration, and follow it with abundant dua — sujood is among the most accepted places for supplication.
Count this dhikr daily in Dhikr Garden — every recitation waters a tree in your garden.
