La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah — A Treasure of Paradise
The Prophet ﷺ told Abu Musa: "Shall I not tell you of a treasure from the treasures of Paradise?
The phrase — known as the hawqala — surrenders all power and ability to Allah. It is said when facing what is beyond your strength, and it converts helplessness into reliance.
La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah
There is no power nor strength except with Allah.
