Allahumma a'inni 'ala dhikrika — Help Me Remember You
The Prophet ﷺ took Mu'adh ibn Jabal by the hand and said: "By Allah, I love you, O Mu'adh" — then commanded him never to leave this dua after any prayer (Abu Dawud 1522). It asks Allah's help for the three pillars of devotion: remembrance, gratitude, and excellent worship.
اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ
Allahumma a'inni ala dhikrika wa shukrika wa husni 'ibadatik
O Allah, help me to remember You, to give thanks to You, and to worship You well.
Virtue and Source
The Prophet ﷺ commanded Mu'adh to say this after every prayer — Abu Dawud 1522, authenticated
When to Recite It
Say it at the end of every prayer. It is short, authentic, and carries the rare distinction of being a dua the Prophet ﷺ attached to a declaration of love.
