Asking Allah for Pardon and Well-being (Al-'Afw wal-'Afiyah)
When al-Abbas asked the Prophet ﷺ for a dua to hold onto, he answered: "Ask Allah for al-'afiyah" — comprehensive well-being of faith, body, family, and wealth. The Prophet ﷺ himself never omitted these words morning and evening (Abu Dawud 5074).
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ
Allahumma inni as'alukal-'afwa wal-'afiyata fid-dunya wal-akhirah
O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in this world and the next.
