Duas for Worry and Distress
When hardship closes in, the Sunnah offers words tested by the prophets themselves — the call of Yunus from inside the whale, the words of Ibrahim in the fire, and the Prophet's ﷺ own supplications in his hardest moments.
1. Du'a of Yunus
Laa ilaaha illaa anta subhaanaka innee kuntu minadh-dhaalimeen.
There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers.

Hasbunallaahu wa ni'mal-wakeel.
Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.

3. Du'a in distress
Allaahumma rahmataka arjoo, falaa takilnee ilaa nafsee tarfata 'ayn, wa aslih lee sha'nee kullahu, laa ilaaha illaa ant.
O Allah, I hope for Your mercy. Do not leave me to myself even for the blink of an eye. Rectify all of my affairs for me. There is no god but You.
